Welcome fellow barrel racer!
We are very excited to have you participate with us this year. Our goal is to offer you a Christian based barrel race
with a family atmosphere. We hope that the things the Lord has laid on our heart to say and do will be a blessing to you. With the beginning of a new year we would like to explain some of our rules.
1. 80% payback
2.
½ sec. splits for Open 5D
and 4D Youth
3. 1 sec. splits for 4D Pee-Wee, 4D Junior class and Open 3D Poles.
4.
Youth class age is 18yrs. and under,
as of Jan. 30, 2010.
5. Pee-Wee class age is 8yrs. and under, as of Jan. 30, 2010.
6.
Junior class age is 9yrs.-12yrs.,
as of Jan. 30, 2010.
7. Number of places paid out for each D, per class, will
be determined by total paid entries. The more participants
we have, the more places we pay out.
8. Divisions
with a “hole” will be moved up to pay higher divisions, starting with the 1D. Payout will not be moved down.
9.
A knocked down barrel, or broken
pattern will be a no-time. The announcer's judgment is final.
10. If there is a timer malfunction or operator mistake, the participant
who was running during that time will be allowed a re-run. (Unless there was a knocked down barrel during their run.) In that
re-run, if the participant knocks down a barrel, they have the option to run a second and final time.
11. Books will be open until the last ten runners.
12. Awards will be given by participation first, then combined with point
accumulation during the year. In each class, at each show, points will be awarded through 5th
place in each division, regardless if money was won or not. Points will be divided as follows: 1st (5
points), 2nd (4 points),
3rd (3 points), 4th (2 points), 5th (1 point).
13. Yearend awards will be the following month after the finals.
To be eligible for awards you need to participate in 7 out of 10 shows, per horse and rider combination, in each class you
choose to participate in. In the case of a "D" that has no one qualifying for 7 out of 10 shows, it will be
awarded to the next highest point earner who attended at least 5 shows. If there is a tie for awards, it will be given to
the participant who won the most money. Multiple entered horses ridden by the same person will be considered separate in the
calculations of participation and points earned.
14. Only one award can be received by each horse and rider combination, per class. With the exception
that no one else qualifies, then there could be the possibility of additional awards being given. The top award will
be given first, regardless of the "D", unless the recipient chooses the lesser award.
15. If your horse has an injury or severe medical condition that prohibits you from continuing to run
him/her, with a letter from your veterinarian you may substitute with another horse. During that time, the points you earn
and participation will be calculated together as if you rode the same horse.
16. Two or more people cannot ride the same horse in any class unless they are immediate
family members (husband, wife, kids). You may ride the same horse in competition if you are not family members, but you will
not be eligible for yearend awards. No one person is allowed to ride the same horse in a class, more than once.
17. We do not have a dress code. We only ask that you dress modestly.
No mid-drifts or halter tops.
18. No alcoholic beverages please.
19. We have adopted Rise Above Productions rules. They will apply at all shows.
20.
